Walls That Breathe

The Summer 2026 studio took the ground itself as the primary material: to read it, amend it, and build from it rather than over it. Students were asked what it means to re-ground a place that has been emptied out — answering through landscape, slow ecological repair, and the patient reuse of what was already there.
